LEMON (CHOCOLATE OR BUTTERSCOTCH) DESSERT
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 cup pecans (optional)
8-ounce softened cream cheese
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 cup Cool Whip
3 cups milk
2 small pkg lemon instant pudding (0r chocolate or butterscotch)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Blend butter and flour together until crumbly.
Pat into 9 X 13 inch pan. Press 1/2 cup pecans into crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool.
Mix together cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and Cool Whip.
Spread over cooled crust.
Beat milk with pudding.
Spread over cream cheese mixture.
Top with cool whip.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts is optional.
Chill and serve. Keep refrigerated.
