DATE PUDDING
 
2 cups light brown sugar
3 cups boiling water
2 large tablespoon butter

1 cup nuts

1 cups chopped dates
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
About 1 cup flour
 

Boil first three ingredients for 10 minutes
Pour in bottom of baking pan.


Mix the rest of the ingredients pour over syrup.
Bake in moderate (350 degree) oven 15 minutes.
