2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda

1 beaten egg
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
3/4 cup orange juice

2 tablespoons salad oil

1 cup coarsely chopped fresh cranberries

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and soda.

Combine egg, grated orange peel, orange juice, and salad oil.

Add to dry ingredients, stirring just till moistened.
Fold in cranberries and walnuts.

Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or till done.
Remove from pan; cool. Wrap; store overnight.
