2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt

1 cup margarine, softened
1 12-ounce pkg chocolate chips
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large egg
1 cup nuts  

Grease baking sheets lightly.
Preheat oven at 375 degrees.

Combine flour, soda, and salt.
Beat butter until smooth and shinny.
Add sugars and cream well.
Stir in vanilla then beat in egg until fluffy.

Add flour in 2 portions mixing until smooth after each.
Stir in cream, nuts and chocolate chips.

Drop level spoonful on prepared sheets 2 1/2 inch apart.
Bake about 10 minutes.

Makes: 60 cookies.
