1 1/2 cup water (boiling)
1 1/2 cup minute rice
1 medium onion
3 tablespoons butter
2 small packages chopped broccoli (cooked)
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons dry chives (optional)
1/2 pound Velveeta Cheese
Combine water and rice; set aside.
Saute onion and butter.
Mix together broccoli, soup, milk, chives and 3/4 of the cheese.
Add sauteed onion and rice.
Pour into 9 X 13 pan. Top with remaining cheese.
Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Special Note: May be microwaved; is excellent warmed over.
