6 slices bacon, diced
BARBECUED GREEN BEANS
1 onion chopped
4 (1 pound) cans cut green beans drained (not fresh)
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup catsup
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Cook bacon and onion together in medium-size skillet over medium heat until bacon is crisp.
Remove with slotted spoon and place in ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
Add green beans.
Mix brown sugar and catsup in medium-size bowl.
Fold into green beans.
Bake covered for 3 hours.
